July Bloom Report

What is blooming in the Experimental Garden July 15, 2010

Everything in our garden is an experiment.  We are not as knowledgeable as our daughter, check out

We still have salvia





The black bees and the honey bees love this little
flower that opens when the sun comes up (iceplant or Carpobrotus chilensis).








Begonias


 Yellow water lily in the water garden.

White Water Lily in the water garden


Where did he come from?



Purple Pickerelweed (Pontederia cordata) being eaten by the June beetles.

Pole beans are suffering after 45 days and counting of 90 degree temps.

Hydrangea hanging in there


Wild Obedient (Physostegia virginiana) and long gone Monarda.


Neighbor stopped by for a snack and brought the twins.

Twins:  Floie and Joy.
